Happy Fourth of July!!

This year I had to work the Fourth of July weekend, so that was a total bummer! But we still managed to have some fun, nonetheless. On Friday night we went down to Centerville to watch the fireworks with Riley's family. They put on a good show! Novali sat on both of our laps the entire time and made cute "ooh"ing and "aahh" noises everytime a firework would go off.

We went back to his parents house that night to eat some food and watch them light off their fireworks on their driveway. Every year his family sleeps out in their backyard with some friends before the parade and they wake up and make breakfast. But we didn't sleep over because I had to work first thing. Dumb, dumb. That night Riley dared Bethanie to eat a spoonful of flour. She attempted it, but was quite unsuccessful. The flour ended up spewing all over the kitchen and I'm sure went up her nose quite a bit. He also dared Jessie to eat a teaspoon of cinammon. Also didn't turn out too well. We have videos of both. Hilarious.

The next morning Riley rode in the Centerville parade with his friends Brian, Jordan, and Ryan. They rode on their little pit bikes and from the sounds of it, they were quite a hit!

Saturday night we went to the Kaysville fireworks with Jordan, Alyssa, and Ryan Umpelby. The boys had a fun time lighting off fireworks and throwing a boomerang back and forth to eachother before the fireworks started. Kaysville's fireworks were great this year!! We had a ton of fun!!
